Multi-award winning PR, social and experiential agency, Red Agency, is significantly ramping up its government offering by appointing Terri-Helen Gaynor as Head of Government, reporting to Red Agency’s Sydney Principal, Jackie Crossman. The role is national and Gaynor will work on integrated campaigns drawing on the resources of the broader Havas Village family as appropriate.

Gaynor has extensive experience advising on communications issues and providing strategic counsel to government ministers, boards of directors and CEOs of listed and private companies as well as government agencies in Australia and across the Asia Pacific region.

Prior to this appointment Terri-Helen was President and CEO of Burson-Marsteller APAC and Managing Director of Reputation Asia Pacific. Reputation won numerous awards in Australia and the Asia Pacific for its work on large-scale government campaigns and on government relations projects for corporate clients.

Red Agency CEO and Havas Creative Group COO, James Wright, said Terri-Helen is an outstanding candidate to lead the agency’s Government team and grow the practice.

“Red Agency is renowned for developing and executing award-winning campaigns for clients across a wide range of sectors from consumer, business-to-business marketing and technology to corporate and healthcare and now we are expanding and adding more firepower to our rapidly growing government practice,” Wright said.

“It’s the right time for us to develop our government offer further with the best quality offering to deliver exceptional value to our clients. As a national appointment, we will be expanding our services to governments across Australia and boosting government relations in our arsenal for consumer and corporate clients,” he said.

Gaynor said it is exciting becoming part of such an internationally renowned team and expanding its government offering to corporate clients as well as continuing the already great work being done on major government campaigns.

“We will continue to strive to be leaders in this field with our truly integrated approach to planning, analytics and creative in a methodology that delivers total channel engagement from stakeholder engagement, digital and social expertise to mobile, owned, earned and paid media and experiential execution to deliver significant outcomes for government and corporate clients,” she said.
