Gosford Classic Car Museum selects Red Agency as PR partner

by William Turner in News

Gosford Classic Car Museum has appointed leading PR, social and experiential agency, Red Agency, as the business seeks to drive visitation numbers and increase consumer awareness in market.

Owned and established by Tony Denny in 2016, the Museum is already Australia’s biggest private car collection and the largest car museum in the southern hemisphere, showcasing some 450 vehicles valued at more than $70 million.

Gosford Classic Car Museum’s Marketing, PR & Events Manager, Kim Bradley, said: “We’re thrilled to be working with Red Agency, gearing up to take Gosford Classic Car Museum to the next level in 2017. Tony has worked hard to build and maintain this fantastic collection, and with Red Agency working as an extension of our team we can continue to build on the momentum.”

Just one hour north of Sydney, the Museum is the number one rated tourist attraction on TripAdvisor for Gosford, drawing in automotive enthusiasts, car clubs, friends and families who enjoy and appreciate classic and vintage cars and motorcycles.

Red Agency will support Gosford Classic Car Museum’s regular events while engaging Australian and international audiences. At the heart of all PR activity will be the cars themselves: every vehicle has a story to tell, from defining an era as a style icon, to celebrity owners and epic journeys, and Red Agency will tap into these to raise awareness and drive engagement.

Red Agency Sydney Principal, Jackie Crossman, said: “We are proud to partner with Gosford Classic Car Museum so soon after its launch in Australia and look forward to delivering strong results in the year ahead. Our PR program aims to truly move the needle for the museum, increasing visitors as well as consumer interest in these beautiful, classic cars.”

To kick things off, Gosford Classic Car Museum will be participating in NSW Kids in Need’s World’s Largest Open House on Sunday April 30. The World’s Largest Open House will raise money for NSW Kids In Need, a collection of children’s charities including Central Coast Kids in Need and SHINE for Kids. For one day only, tickets to the Museum will be $10 (half the normal adult admission price) and all daily takings will be going to these children’s charities. The Museum will hand-pick iconic classic cars to be displayed on Sydney’s Garden Island for the media launch on 11th April.
