Last week, Red Agency took top honours at this year’s PRWeek Awards Asia 2014, the region’s biggest showcase of PR campaigns, taking out Campaign of the Year, Agency of the Year and three outright category wins and three certificates of excellence.
Red Agency dominated the show that highlights the best public relations campaigns from the last year across Asia-Pacific. The ‘Agency of the Year’ is the second year in a row the agency has won the accolade having been named ‘Asia Consultancy of the Year 2013’ last year.
The winning campaigns by category were:
- Best Public Affairs Campaign. ‘Changing the Climate Conversation’ for the UN Foundation, a campaign to promote the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change Global Assessment Reports.
- Best Digital Campaign. ‘Most Powerful Arm Ever Invented’ with Havas Worldwide Sydney, Finch and Reactive. A campaign to raise funds awareness of Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy.
- Best Not for Profit Campaign. ‘Buy the Sky’ with the Royal Flying Doctors Service. Again an award shared with sister advertising agency Havas Worldwide Sydney. A campaign to raise funds for the iconic Australian charity.
- Certificates of excellence were provided for ‘Know What They Like, Find What They Love’, the 2013 Christmas campaign for eBay, and ‘Most Powerful Arm Ever Invented’ picking up two.
