Keeping an eye on Virtual Reality

In my career I’ve been an integral part of the launch teams for a range of innovative tech companies – many of whose products have made a significant impact to the consumer gadget territory. The great thing about working on Tech PR is that I do get a lot of perks from working closely with these giants and start-ups. I am often one of the first people to hear about new technologies before it becomes mainstream. Sometimes, if I’m really lucky, I even get to experience them before launch.

Red Agency and Graymedia merge in Brisbane

Red Agency has expanded its operations in Queensland with Graymedia merging into its Brisbane office. The move is part of a strategic investment plan to increase its profile and footprint in the Sunshine State.

What do we look for in interns?

At Red Agency, we receive a large amount of applications for internships across all three of our offices and even have a backlog of people waiting to intern with us! We recognise the importance of internships in providing experience to students, as well as an insight to the workings of an agency.

Red Agency Success At PRWeek Awards Asia

Last week, Red Agency  took top honours at this year’s PRWeek Awards Asia 2014, the region’s biggest showcase of PR campaigns, taking out Campaign of the Year, Agency of the Year and three outright category wins and three certificates of excellence.

mumbrella360 – What did we learn?

Last week I went along to mumbrella360 – held at the Hilton Hotel Sydney, curator Tim Burrowes bought together over 200 local and international speakers from agencies, brands and media outlets with some of the big names including Keith Hernandez, Executive Director International Strategy BuzzFeed, Amir Kassaei Global Chief Creative Officer DDB Worldwide, Chris Mitchell, Editor in Chief of The Australian and Mark Scott, Managing Director ABC.
