Havas Red Claims Top Honor at 2025 PRIME Awards for Groundbreaking Women’s Health Campaign

Healthcare Communications Excellence Recognized with Best PR Campaign – Awareness & Advocacy Award

Havas Red’s Healthcare Communications team has secured the coveted Best PR Campaign – Awareness & Advocacy award at the 2025 PRIME Awards for its transformative Women’s Health Collaboration campaign, executed in partnership with Bayer.

The award-winning initiative centered on raising awareness and advocating for policy reform to enhance contraceptive access for Australian women, building momentum from the Senate Inquiry into Universal Access to Reproductive Healthcare.

Strategic Partnerships Drive Meaningful Healthcare Reform

Developed and delivered in collaboration with Bayer Pharmaceuticals, Sexual and Reproductive Health Australia, RACGP, and H/Advisors APA, the campaign exemplifies purpose-driven healthcare communications that generates tangible real-world impact.

Under the leadership of Nicole Phillips and Paula Gelo, the campaign showcases the effectiveness of the Havas integrated Village model, which combines strategic healthcare insights, creative excellence, and cross-functional collaboration to achieve meaningful systemic change.

Recognition Coincides with Historic Medicare Reforms

The timing of this recognition is particularly significant, as the award was presented during the same week that landmark Medicare Benefits Schedule (MBS) reforms were implemented. These reforms include a 150% increase in rebates for IUD insertions and provisions for extended GP consultations, representing a major advancement in contraception accessibility and affordability for Australian women nationwide.

Industry-Leading Healthcare Communications Honoured

Havas Red is honoured to receive recognition from the PRIME Awards, which celebrate outstanding achievement in healthcare communications. The agency stands proud alongside its partners and clients in the ongoing effort to champion improved access to reproductive healthcare services across Australia.
